Hey, I’m so happy you are here
i’m Anna, a newborn photographer in Berlin
A boy mama, traveler, lover of art, good food, campfires, boat rides, and real connection. After living in five different countries, I’m now raising my family near Berlin.
In a world that expects you to bounce back as fast as possible, my newborn sessions are an invitation to slow down. To notice the little things. To feel all the feels around becoming a mother — whether it’s your first or fifth time.
We’ll plan everything together so it feels personal and grounded — no pressure, no performance. I work on film, which means photographing slowly and intentionally, taking time for the moments to unfold. After your session, you’ll receive high-resolution scans in a thoughtfully curated online gallery, and beautiful prints that I wrap by hand with care.
This isn’t a photoshoot off the rack — it’s a gentle collaboration, an experience where you can truly feel seen. In the end, you’ll hold something real: intimate, nostalgic images from the first days of your baby’s life.
So you can remember not just what it looked like,
but how it felt.

“Anna is simply a superstar when it comes to analogue photography. We are fascinated by the photos. They reflect the new life with our newborn daughter so honestly and lovingly!”

why film??
There’s something different about an analog photograph.
You can feel it — in the softness, the colours, the grain, the little imperfections, the way it holds emotion without shouting. Somehow, it captures not just how things looked, but how they felt.
Working with film slows everything down. There’s no rapid clicking, no endless images to scroll through. Just a few carefully made frames that preserve something real: the way your newborn curled into your chest, the light in your living room on a quiet morning, the texture of those early days when everything is both tender and overwhelming.
When you choose film, you’re choosing memory over trends. You’re choosing something lasting — photographs that feel like they belong in an old family album. Not perfect, but timeless and full of soul.
I photograph my own family only on film. And I capture your newborn story the same way — with curiosity and care.
All my work is personal work.
Film photography is my love language.
If you're looking for baby photos in Berlin that feel like memory, not just pictures — you’re in the right place.
sessions for memory keeping
After your session, you’ll receive a thoughtfully curated online gallery with high-resolution scans of your analog images — ready to download, just like digital photos.
But memories don’t belong on a screen alone. Every session also includes something to hold: instant photos for a touch of nostalgia, fine art prints to frame or gift, or a beautiful photo album with thick pages made for little hands to turn again and again.
the classic session
A simple, meaningful session to remember these early days
The Classic is a two-hour newborn photography session on analog film — slow, intentional, and personal.
It’s designed to capture what matters most: your baby in those early days, the feedings, the cuddles, the way everything feels new.
There’s time to settle in, to breathe, and to simply be. I’ll gently guide you through a mix of natural moments and soft, vintage-inspired portraits — creating a series that captures your story of change in intimate and nostalgic images.
I know it can feel vulnerable to be photographed in this season — especially when everything still feels tender and unpredictable. You don’t need to have it all together. Your baby might cry, you might feel tired or not like yourself. That’s okay. We’ll go slow, and we’ll find the beauty that's still there, even in the most fragile moments.
You’ll receive:
– A curated gallery of analog newborn photographs
– A set of Polaroids
– Museum-quality fine art prints
from €750
the day together
A poetic portrait of your life, as it is now
This is more than a photoshoot — it’s a gentle, unhurried way to celebrate your life. I’ll be with you for four to five hours, moving with your baby’s rhythm and the natural pace of your home.
We’ll capture the kinds of things that usually get missed: a rare quiet moment with a cup of herbal tea, breastfeeding while eating a piece of toast one-handed, your baby falling asleep on your chest right after a meltdown, your partner cooking while you rest... This session gives space for whatever shows up in your everyday life: calm, connection, mess, tiredness, love.
A longer session is especially lovely if you have more than one child — there’s space to give attention to everyone, and to capture your children together naturally.
There’s also more room for creativity: different film cameras, changing light throughout the day, and a short portrait session just for the mama — because you deserve to be seen and celebrated.
You’ll receive:
– A curated gallery of analog newborn photographs
– A set of Polaroids
– A vintage-inspired fine art photo album with thick, lay-flat pages
from €1350
When you reach out, I’ll send you my full session guide with all the details.
I also offer combined packages for maternity and newborn photography in Berlin — to help you preserve this season as a whole.
I want meaningful photography to be accessible to as many families as possible, so I offer flexible payment plans. Just reach out and we’ll find something that works.
your experience
-
Being photographed in this season is personal and tender. That’s why I tailor every session to you and your family. Fill out the contact form, and I’ll send you my session guide with all the details within 72 hours. Then we’ll find a time that feels right and book your date.
If your baby hasn’t arrived yet, we’ll talk about how soon after the birth you’d like me to come — and I’ll reserve space in my calendar around your due date. That way, you can simply let me know when your baby arrives, and we’ll set the date for your session.
-
Once you’ve booked, I’ll be there to guide you through the process. You’ll receive a thoughtful questionnaire to help you reflect on what really matters — the moments, details, and feelings you want to hold onto from this fleeting season.
From there, we’ll stay in touch via WhatsApp or phone — whatever feels easiest for you. If you’d like help choosing outfits, I’m happy to offer gentle advice — not to “style” you, but to help you feel most like yourself.
This collaborative planning is not about changing anything. It’s about finding the most meaningful way to photograph your life.

Meaningful moments need time to unfold. That’s why all of my sessions are slow and unhurried. Think of me like a friend visiting with a camera in hand. Because I shoot on film, I photograph less — which means you won’t hear constant clicking of the shutter.
Your baby can cry. Your house can be a mess. You can take breaks. Nothing has to be perfect. I mostly work in a documentary style, and I’ll only guide you gently when it’s truly helpful. You can just be present with your baby and your family.
-
After our session, I send your film to my partner lab in Berlin — a small team of true analog enthusiasts who develop and scan everything with great care (seriously, these guys are amazing). Once I receive the scans, I make small adjustments to your photos and curate your gallery.
Around four weeks after your session, you’ll get access to a private online gallery where you can view and download your high-resolution images. A few weeks later, you’ll receive your Polaroids and printed keepsakes — because your memories deserve more than just a place on a hard drive.

“The session with Anna felt like we had known each other for a long time and had invited a friend over for tea”.

FAQ
-
It’s likely your baby will cry a little (or a lot) — and it’s completely ok. That’s just part of this season. I’ve got kids myself, so nothing that happens during our session will surprise me.
My sessions are slow and flexible, and allow space for all kinds of emotions. Comforting your baby after they cry is a beautiful thing to document. And just in case things get difficult for you and your little one, I always keep extra buffer time for newborn photography, so we can take a break any time.
