Your bond with your own mother

You don’t need a perfect home or outfit.
Just you, your kids, and the connection you share.

“Anna, thank you from the bottom of my heart. It’s not easy for me to open up in front of the camera, and I’m really grateful that you made me feel so comfortable. ”
Anna, Potsdam
A NEW WAY TO SEE YOUR motherhood
why choose film?
Film is timeless. Its texture and grain bring a sense of nostalgia — like flipping through an old family album.
Film is slow. With only a handful of frames, every image is made with care and intention.
Film embraces quirks and imperfections. Just like motherhood, it’s perfectly imperfect.
When your children and their children look back on these photos, they’ll feel the same warmth you feel today.

“Anna, your photos remind me of a time before social media — like something from an exhibition in the '80s or an old family album. I can’t believe you captured us like this.”
Catalina, Berlin

That’s completely normal. Most of us don’t. I shoot on film, which means no constant clicking and no rush. The process is slower, quieter, with plenty of space for breaks. I’ll gently guide you when it helps, but I’m also tuned in: if you feel like chatting about motherhood, we’ll do that; if you’d rather have some quiet, I’ll match your pace.
This isn’t about creating a perfect picture. It’s about giving you space to show up exactly as you are — tired, emotional, joyful, or all of those things.

Usually, moms are the ones taking most of the photos — which means there are plenty of shots of the kids with their dad, but hardly any with you. These short sessions are designed to capture your experience as a mother and your bond with your children. Your partner can be there, and we can do a few shots together — but most of the session will be for you. And if you’re a two‑mum family, of course you’re both welcome.

From the outside, not much changes. You don’t have to do anything differently, and you’ll still receive your images as high-resolution digital files.
But the energy of the session is different. Because I shoot slowly and intentionally, I am able to be more present — and it often helps you feel more grounded, too.
One thing that matters more with film is light. Film needs lots of light, so we’ll plan your session for the time of day when the light is best in your home — especially important on grey Berlin days.
You don’t need to worry about the technical side — that’s on me. All you need to do is show up, and I’ll take care of the rest.
Let’s create something beautiful together
